The Thai Dragon produces fairly small fruits, but it is an easy grower! So, this variety is an excellent choice for someone who decides to start with producing dragon fruits for instance! Next to this, this pitaya fruit is also a fast grower, so if you want to enjoy many dragon fruit, this is the one. The Thai Dragon pitaya is more robust compared to the other varieties, so make use you build / buy a trellis that can support this variety in a proper way. Not only the Thai Dragon fruit plant, but all varieties prefers a little bit of shade on the ground.
Tip: Do not give water to the Thai Dragon pitaya before harvesting, as this could potentially influence the taste in a bad way. The taste could differ and become less.
