The American beauty gives small to medium size dragon fruit (200 to 450 grams). When the fruit is ripe, the outside of the fruit has a nice green to pink fade color. It is known for its good-growing fruit! This variety has an impressive appearances with its nice green to pink fade skin color. This variety is also a good choice for beginners since this variety is considered as a reliable bloomer / fruit producer! This variety usually blooms late summer as it likes the heat. Not only the American Beauty dragon fruit plant, but all dragon fruit plants prefers a little bit of shade on the ground.
Tip: Do not give water to the American Beauty before harvesting, as this could potentially influence the taste of your dragon fruit. The taste can become a lot less.
