The Red Jiana thanks his name to his deep dark red, delicious flesh inside. Its greatest potential is as a juicing variety (because of the taste + and the beautiful red color). The Red Jiana fruits can reach a weight of 500 to 750 grams. The pitaya is a fast grower with not too thick branches. If you want to enjoy many dragon fruits, the Red Jiana is definitely recommended since this pitaya fruit is a heavy producer. Next to this, this pitaya fruit easily adapts itself to its growing conditions and soils. Not only this Red Jiana dragon fruit plant, but all dragon fruit plants prefers a little bit of shade on the ground.
Tip: Do not give water to the Red Jiana dragon fruit before harvesting, as this will influence the taste (taste becomes less).
